Corpus
Our study of the pragmaticalization of speech and thought verbs is based on a corpus ranging across the main periods of the Greek and Latin languages in Antiquity.
This corpus is conceived in several stages. These stages are must be thought of as concentric circles. Thus, instead of adding new periods in every stage, the extensions of the corpus add new authors and works of periods already studied.
